Very interesting article Ron, keep writing. I would say the thing I have seen over and over again, is that in Web 2.0 Marketing, transparancy is key.

The revolutionary trends you describe don't wrap over even 80% of the world's population - so these are not trends as much as they are minor innovations of developed economies. In many places, towncrier comes in, drums roll news, fliers are left in mosques. We need to keep the big picture in view. Not to say these are not valid but if you have really, really big ambitions, you need to think beyond. I have seen camels in Rajasthan, India painted over delightfully with an ad for a global brand detergent and I have seen shady massage parlours with billboards of a major French cosmetics giant in Bangkok.

Great stuff, I'm new to blogging, new to internet marketing. I'm just trying to get my foot in the door before I depart the Army in four years. But Seth's logic is undeniable even to me. I'll be coming here more often. Thanks, CrisToeFir
